2008 in Perspective:The Secret to Achieving more in 2009
December 30, 2008 on 11:06 am | In Career, Family, Financial Success, Investment, Motivation in little things, Self Development | 4 CommentsI will not let this year end without updating this site. Happy holidays to you. Its been one helluva year and boy did it have its share of ups and downs, hopefully more up than down. As is my custom (for at least 8years now), I do a big review of the year right about this time every year and basically flip out my goal list and begin to evaluate.
I never used to have a goal list, I thought having a mental idea (only) of what I planned to do was just good enough. The first time I heard Rev Sam Adeyemi tell us to come to Watchnite (Crossover) service with our goal list, I panicked and struggled. “The shortest pencil is stronger than the biggest memory” he said. “Write it down! You’ll give those dreams their first step towards materialisation when you write them down”. And so I did and together we prayed upon them and I’ve never broken the tradition since then cos I found that it works.

Is it me or the person who i should believe in. Ok, i’m rambling again but i know you love my ramblings…why else are you here lol. But seriously, i want to expand this thing that cropped up in my mind..

Spill your guts!
February 19, 2008 on 11:29 am | In Books, Metamorphosis, Motivation in little things, Scripture | 2 CommentsI’m determined to watch steps and tongue so they won’t land me in trouble.
I decided to hold my tongue as long as Wicked is in the room. “Mum’s the word,” I said, and kept quiet. But the longer I kept silence, (not even saying anything good)
The worse it got- (my anguish increased)
my insides got hotter and hotter.
My thoughts boiled over;
I spilled my guts.
As I searched within me for an appropriate title for this article, this quote (above) from the Psalmist came to my mind.

The monster called Lagos traffic …or the “enemy” called Fear Part 2
February 14, 2008 on 9:31 am | In God-factor, Lagos life, Motivation in little things, Traffic | 4 CommentsThis article is a continuation of The monster called Lagos traffic …or the “enemy” called Fear. I strongly recommend that you read the initial post to understand this post in full. The monster called Lagos traffic or the “enemy” called Fear
February 8, 2008 on 3:07 pm | In God-factor, Lagos life, Motivation in little things, Traffic | 12 CommentsIt’s been about 5 weeks now since I relieved my driver of 6 months of his duties, I just got fed up with his juvenilish behaviour. This reduced me to self-drive and if you reside in Lagos, you will appreciate the situation I am currently facing better. Traffic is chaotic, maybe even more than before. The roads, No, ALL roads – Ikorodu road, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Alapere – Iyana Oworo – 3rd mainland, are congested from A.M to P.M. My legs ache and subsequently by extension, my whole body too on account of pressing down turtle every other minute, you all know the drill. I am trying to paint a picture here.
