Where were we?

I’m so sorry…..i know…i shouldnt have left off the way i did, initially i thought it was just a few days…and then it became a few weeks and then months…at some point,even i would check in hoping to find a new post put up by my Saviour lol, anyone who could just rescue me. I was going thru a lot and i really wished i could transfer my thots straight up on to this page…All in all, i should think i’m back on track

 Whenever you are feeling really comfortable (and this in itself is not bad) having never gone thru rough times and you are thinking, “I’m the man….” remember this and be humble. You will be the wiser for it.

Time Flies II

This is meant to be a follow-up to the article …Time flies  http://www.abiolaalabi.com/2008/03/09/time-flies so please read it up first. We rounded off by asking what difference knowing how much time one has left will make to living a better life. Time flies

I was exchanging mails with an ex-school mate recently and one of the mails had a picture of her baby boy taken about a year ago. She exclaimed, “how time flies!” obviously referring to the remarkable growth in the boy since the time the picture was taken. In my reply, i suddenly found myself waxing lyrical and that’s the inspiration for this post.

The Pain associated with loss

As I write this article, I am feeling pain over a loss…..i lost an article. Not just an article, well it was an article but it took time to write, it took thinking, researching, don’t you understand? more thinking, putting words together, removing some more. Rearranging thoughts….shiiiii, I was writing and saving or so I thought….Actually, I used the “Save and Continue Editing” option, wasn’t it supposed to autosave as I typed more stuff? My Senior colleagues in this blogging business, pls tell me what to do so as to avoid this loss in future.

Here I am lamenting over the loss of an article, (again it was no ordinary article, girl, get over it already!) the “depth” of my pain makes me realise that someone somewhere at this time is going through a deeper grief. What have you (just) lost?

The Psychology of a Bad Salesman

When you wake up in the morning,

You have two choices

Go back to sleep and dream your dreams or

Wake up and chase those dreams

The choice is yours.

Have you ever wondered what correlation, if any, exists between getting ideas and the bathroom…..? Well, I have.

I know someone else (a great motivational speaker) other than myself who also gets ideas in the bathroom.

The bathroom is a place where no distractions exist… Learn to shut out distractions and connect with your inner self. I do this a lot.  Are you scared that you might die of boredom if you are alone for a length of time? (No TV, No phone calls, No internet, no radio etc) Anyways, lest i digress as i am wont to do. I was going to say i got the idea for this article while in the bath. This isn’t TMI, is it?
