Are you?
April 7, 2008 on 10:44 am | In God-factor, Life, Music | 1 CommentMy first Snippet goes thus…
Are you..
Afraid to Live, and afraid to Die?…..
I guess Dolly Parton has more to say in her song…
Dolly Parton - Afraid To Live And Afraid Of Dying
They say most anything you eat could hurt your health
Be careful what you drink, don’t harm yourself
And pollution in the air might make you sick
Makes you afraid to live, afraid that you might die too quick
Do the men that quote this danger really know? (that)
Life is a gift to be enjoyed and not to worry so
The biggest danger sign that we should know
Make sure we’re right with God, as through this world we go
We’re afraid to live ’cause we’re afraid of dyin’
And afraid to love the one we love, afraid they might be lyin’
We can’t enjoy life when they say each thing might bring an early grave
We’re afraid to live ’cause we’re afraid of dyin’
Do the men that quote this danger really know? (That)
Life is a gift to be enjoyed, why worry so?
The biggest danger sign that we should know
Make sure we’re right with God, as through this world we go
Make sure we’re right with God, as through this world we go

Is it me or the person who i should believe in. Ok, i’m rambling again but i know you love my ramblings…why else are you here lol. But seriously, i want to expand this thing that cropped up in my mind..

I strongly recommend that you read the initial post to understand this post in full. I used the story of my paranoia and inertia on account of the dreaded traffic situation to illustrate how we get stuck in our present, failing to reach for the future.

The monster called Lagos traffic or the “enemy” called Fear
February 8, 2008 on 3:07 pm | In God-factor, Lagos life, Motivation in little things, Traffic | 12 CommentsIt’s been about 5 weeks now since I relieved my driver of 6 months of his duties, I just got fed up with his juvenilish behaviour. This reduced me to self-drive and if you reside in Lagos, you will appreciate the situation I am currently facing better. Traffic is chaotic, maybe even more than before. The roads, No, ALL roads - Ikorodu road, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Alapere - Iyana Oworo - 3rd mainland, are congested from A.M to P.M. My legs ache and subsequently by extension, my whole body too on account of pressing down turtle every other minute, you all know the drill. I am trying to paint a picture here.
