2008 in Perspective:The Secret to Achieving more in 2009

Happy holidays to you. Its been one helluva year and boy did it have its share of ups and downs, hopefully more up than down. As is my custom (for at least 8years now), I do a big review of the year right about this time every year and basically flip out my goal list and begin to evaluate.
I never used to have a goal list, I thought having a mental idea (only) of what I planned to do was just good enough. The first time I heard Rev Sam Adeyemi tell us to come to Watchnite (Crossover) service with our goal list, I panicked and struggled. “The shortest pencil is stronger than the biggest memory” he said. “Write it down! You’ll give those dreams their first step towards materialisation when you write them down”. And so I did and together we prayed upon them and I’ve never broken the tradition since then cos I found that it works.

The Pain associated with loss

Not just an article, well it was an article but it took time to write, it took thinking, researching, don’t you understand? more thinking, putting words together, removing some more. Rearranging thoughts….shiiiii, I was writing and saving or so I thought….Actually, I used the “Save and Continue Editing” option, wasn’t it supposed to autosave as I typed more stuff? My Senior colleagues in this blogging business, pls tell me what to do so as to avoid this loss in future.
Here I am lamenting over the loss of an article, (again it was no ordinary article, girl, get over it already!) the “depth” of my pain makes me realise that someone somewhere at this time is going through a deeper grief. What have you (just) lost?
