Friendship

I purported in my mind to act friendly towards a certain person whom someone else had adjudged to my hearing as unfriendly. The saying that comes to mind is “he that wants a friend must show himself friendly”, it’s in the Bible init? I decide that i would at least give the person a chance before drawing my conclusion. So, there i must have drawn a line between being friends with someone and acting friendly towards someone
