I’m taking my chance, et tu?
May 11, 2009 on 12:52 pm | In Career, Family, Quotable Quotes | 6 CommentsThe last couple of days i felt like i could write, again. The last few months of the past one year has been eventful. All i wanted to do was pass through the events and take note of the lessons i learnt not necessarily blog about them. I however decided to write a few words cos they just might be what someone out there needs, selfless right? lol.

Navigating this street called life?
March 16, 2009 on 10:23 am | In God-factor, Life, Quotable Quotes, Self Development | 8 CommentsHow do we navigate this street called life? How do you meander through its ups and downs, its lefts and rights or its highs and lows?
Are you the spur-of-the-moment spontanious kinda person typically going with the flow? Or are you the let’s-wait-and-be-absolutely-sure-before-we-move kinda person?

Success and Climbing up
January 20, 2009 on 5:03 am | In Career, Financial Success, God-factor, Life, Quotable Quotes, Self Development, Success Tips | 8 CommentsI got thinking again this morning(how for do now?)…this time around its about the pressure we often put ourselves (and others) under to climb up ( the ladder of success of course)
We complicate it further by adding the rate at which you must climb and the timing under which it must be achieved to it. So its not just enough to have been seen to have “arrived”, you must have done so very rapidly and in quick successive movements, not so? Otherwise, you no be high-flier abi? Hype!

Friendship
January 18, 2009 on 6:37 pm | In Facebook, Friendship | 1 CommentI woke up this morning thinking about this subject. I purported in my mind to act friendly towards a certain person whom someone else had adjudged to my hearing as unfriendly. The saying that comes to mind is “he that wants a friend must show himself friendly”, it’s in the Bible init? I decide that i would at least give the person a chance before drawing my conclusion. So, there i must have drawn a line between being friends with someone and acting friendly towards someone

2008 in Perspective:The Secret to Achieving more in 2009
December 30, 2008 on 11:06 am | In Career, Family, Financial Success, Investment, Motivation in little things, Self Development | 4 CommentsI will not let this year end without updating this site. Happy holidays to you. Its been one helluva year and boy did it have its share of ups and downs, hopefully more up than down. As is my custom (for at least 8years now), I do a big review of the year right about this time every year and basically flip out my goal list and begin to evaluate.
I never used to have a goal list, I thought having a mental idea (only) of what I planned to do was just good enough. The first time I heard Rev Sam Adeyemi tell us to come to Watchnite (Crossover) service with our goal list, I panicked and struggled. “The shortest pencil is stronger than the biggest memory” he said. “Write it down! You’ll give those dreams their first step towards materialisation when you write them down”. And so I did and together we prayed upon them and I’ve never broken the tradition since then cos I found that it works.

Life’s Choices
October 6, 2008 on 12:02 am | In Self Development | 2 CommentsI wanted an appropriate caption but I feared that the longer I tried, the higher the tendency to loose my train of thought and drop the article totally
In more recent times, I’ve found myself in a kind of dilemma. Should I live life knowing that I always have better options or should I live it knowing I’ve got no other option?
The thing about thinking you’ve got other options is that, you continually try to re-invent yourself, rediscover yourself but in so doing, you never really exert yourself…I mean stretch your current option to its limit cos that thing keeps telling you, pushing you to you other options. So you are a jack of all trades who is seeking which you’ll be the master of, but life is short remember!
On the other hand, if you lock yourself into a course, a particular life’s course, burning all bridges, going into this room with only one door whose handle is on the outside, then you give yourself no chance but to succeed at your current option. Outcome can be negative if you don’t feel so passionately about this current course….I mean it could lead to frustration
I guess I can conclude by saying, I ought to find that thing I am most passionate about and go after it. Passion unlocks a whole lot…potential, excellence, commitment, contentment, peace, fulfillment. What can I say?
